Transformational Leadership

Transformational leadership development is defined as a leadership approach that causes change in individuals and social systems. In its ideal form, it creates valuable and positive change in the followers with the end goal of developing followers into leaders.

Godly/Biblical and Kingdom leadership is serving God by serving others. The foundation of ministry begins and ends with service. The way to greatness in the Kingdom is servant leadership. "But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant." (Matthew 20:26)

Transformational leaders in the Kingdom of God, help people understand the purpose, objectives, and values of the King (God). From both a practical and biblical perspective, transformational leadership inspires, develops and empowers followers; it also hones their leadership skills so they become better leaders.

There is no greater example of a transformational leader than our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. During His mission on earth, Jesus provided a powerful model to follow of transformational leadership.

His loving obedience to the Father and abundant love for His followers is clear, “the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28). 

When we emulate Jesus’ leadership, we become more like Him. And that’s what our time on earth is all about.
